Carrot Autumn King (Daucus carota subsp. sativus), an easy to grow carrot variety, which produces heavy yields with long thick roots, good colour and flavour.
Start sowing Autumn King Seeds from April to July
Sow autumn king carrot seeds thinly direct into the growing site 2cm deep in rows 30cm apart. If possible sow carefully so that thinning is not necessary.
Carrot Autumn King should not be transplanted, If you have to thin the seedlings, do so in the evening. Water before thinning and remove all the debris.
Aim for roots of the carrots to be 5-7cm apart. Young autumn king carrots can always be pulled alternately to ‘thin as you eat.
